Founded by Chiswick-based entrepreneur Magda Frackowiak, the company produce fresh and nutritious drinks infused with restaurant-quality ingredients cold-pressed daily and delivered to customers within hours.
“Our aim is to deliver the most powerful, nutrient dense ginger shots available anywhere in the world” says Magda Frackowiak, who was inspired to create the brand after living in Taiwan where fresh ginger is used extensively for its powerful immune support properties.
Following in the footsteps of Innocent Smoothies, Frackowiak began selling her drinks at local markets including Richmond Market and Chiswick House & Gardens Market but has since quit her job to pursue the business full-time following a rapid expansion in customer subscriptions.
Made fresh daily, The Ginger Planet claim to the be only provider of superfood shots made entirely without preservatives or additives. As a result, they are currently only available via subscription or same-day purchase at select retailers in Barnes, Chiswick, Kew or Richmond.
"There are plenty of products out there that claim to be fresh and nutritious but are actually packed with additives and preservatives to increase their shelf life.
Customers increasingly understand this and are looking for a healthier alternative to mass-market brands” says Frackowiak.
It’s an approach that appears to be paying off, with the company set to expand over the next few months to service the needs of their growing customer base, many of whom have become regular weekly customers.
